About

In this blog I intend to examine issues related to urban planning and policy, architecture, sociology, politics, and related fields.

I’m a 25-year old, Pittsburgh-area-dwelling, holder of a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America in DC. I spent a semester studying in Rome, and a year after graduation in Germany as part of the year-long Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, where I spent 2 months taking intensive German language courses in Radolfzell am Bodensee, studied architecture at the TU Dresden for a semester, and had a 5-month internship at an urban planning firm in Leipzig. I’m heading to UCBerkeley this fall to study city and regional planning, and am working at a small restaurant/caterer in the mean time, while also doing whatever bit of planning-related work I can find.
